Other Ceremonies
Baby Naming
How exciting! You have a new addition to your family!

The Naming Ceremony is a celebration of a birth where we welcome your new bundle of joy to the world surrounded by your family and friends.

It gives special adults the chance to express their wishes and hopes for the child’s future. They can commit to supporting and nurturing your child throughout his or her life. It also provides you, as the parent(s) with an opportunity to acknowledge your gratitude to grandparents, family, friends, and godparents (guardians or mentors) for their involvement in your child’s life.

The Naming Ceremony is simple yet very significant and can be adjusted to suit your personal needs.  Contact me and let’s have a chat about it.

Renewing your wedding vows!

Renewing your wedding vows in the presence of your children, family and friends is a completely different experience to the first time you married your husband or wife.  You may have been married for just a short time or for many years and wish to again publicly declare to the world, the love and respect you have for each other and for the life you have built together. What a great life lesson for your children to witness as their parents join hearts and hands to reaffirm their love and commitment to each other.

These ceremonies are often my most favourite as the situation is less formal than a wedding and much more about you and your husband or wife. You can do all the things that you may not have had the opportunity to do on your first wedding day. You may choose to dance down the aisle to a favourite song with your grandchildren. The possibilities are endless and the choice is yours!

Destination Weddings

Fantastic!  What a great way to celebrate the joining of two lives with an overseas ceremony involving family and friends and an awesome holiday thrown into the mix for good measure!

Before jetting off to your overseas destination, think about getting legally “hitched” in Australia before (or after the event).  If you decide to marry in Bali for example, your marriage will come under the legal jurisdiction of the Indonesian Government.

I recommend to all my clients traveling overseas for a wedding ceremony, that they complete all the legal requirements here in Perth.  I prepare the paperwork for you, conduct a quick 5 minute ceremony in front of your two witnesses and then you can jet off to your dream wedding overseas in the complete confidence that your marriage is registered under Australian law.

Give me a call or drop me an email if you require more information.

Prospective Marriage Visa
or Spouse/Partner Visa

If you are ready to submit your application to the Department of Immigration and you require an official letter confirming your engagement of a celebrant in support of your prospective spouse visa application, I can help you with this.

I complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and the letter to be included in your visa application for a fee.  The NOIM is valid for 18 months after I have witnessed it and so you have plenty of time to organise your visa and eventual marriage ceremony.  This fee is not refundable regardless of whether or not your visa application is successful. The eventual wedding ceremony is an additional cost and is dependent on the complexity of the ceremony you require.
